NWPL Heritage Home Tours Database:  Illustrations and descriptions of homes featured on the annual homes tours from 1980 to the present.

Heritage Inventory New Westminster:  The Heritage Resource Inventory is an unofficial and incomplete listing of historic New Westminster properties. A property listed on the Inventory is not legally protected nor is the Inventory used for the purposes of Planning review. The Inventory was created in the 1980s and was the City’s first attempt at identifying local heritage assets.

New Westminster Musuems & Archives are managed across three city locations: Anvil Centre, Irving House and the Samson V Museum. The operations care for over 36,000 objects, 50,000 photographs, and 500 linear meters of archival records that celebrate and document our city’s history. The exhibits focus on the land, people, and development of the place now known as New Westminster. NWMA aims to provide entertaining places of learning and use the objects in the museum’s collection as an entry-point to inquiry, discussion, and exploration about the city.

BC Register of Historic Places In August 2024, the New Westminster Museum and Archives posted this newly launched BC Register of Historic Places. With information on over 5,000 registered sites across BC, this online database showcases the diversity of historic sites across our province. Once you’re on the site, check out ‘DhRr-33’ to see New West’s crown jewel, Irving House.  New Westminster Museum and Archives
