Centennial Lodge and The Gallery at Queen's Park

Queen's Park • Public Space • Built 1960 • Architect: Carlsberg Jackson

Centennial Lodge was designed to be rustic, with the use of large wood beams and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking trees and garden. The space has a timeless feel and is popular for community events and wedding receptions. In 1985, the New Westminster Arts Council moved into the Lodge's south-facing annex and later became home to the Arts Council of New Westminster. The ACNW has presented visual arts exhibitions by local artists for over 30 years. Renamed 'The Gallery at Queen's Park' in 2015, the ACNW plans to refurbish the Gallery and create a home for all artists in the community
