Trapp House is an excellent example of transition from the Edwardian style to the Arts and Crafts movement in archtecture. It was built to impress yet retain an air of modesty. The exterior is simple yet imposing by its sheer size with a hipped roof, full-width porch, a grand interior staircase, and (originally) a second-storey open sleeping balcony. the present owners recognized the beauty of this gracious home and the importance of saving it from demolition. they completed extensive renovatin and resotration work, including trim and fixtures that complement the original architecture and overall design.
