Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Heritage Tour at Tipperary Park! Join us for a special celebration at the Heritage Tour Hub in Tipperary Park, the site of the New Westminster Farmers’ Market. In addition to visiting 11 spectacular residences and landmarks, we have a variety of special events to mark our 40th anniversary. Event Highlights: • NWHPS Welcome Centre: Explore a visual history of Canada’s longest-running heritage homes tour and purchase keepsake NWHPS merchandise. • Women’s Exhibit: Discover a curated display of photos and period pieces highlighting the lives of early residents, including remarkable women from New Westminster’s past. Three homes on this year’s tour also feature displays about notable women who once lived there. • Food and Drinks: Enjoy the Steel & Oak Beer and Pacific Breeze Wine Tasting, and savor a variety of offerings from food kiosks and food trucks serving delicious flavors all day. • Guided Ballet House Tour: The restored Queen Anne beauty on the corner of 3rd and 3rd will be open for special 30-minute guided tours. Led by NWSS graduating drama students portraying historical figures H.T. Kirk and Josephine Slater, tours run from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pre-booking is required when you buy your ticket. The home will also be open for regular viewing from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. • Guided Walking Tour: Enjoy a 45-minute afternoon stroll through the neighborhood with Stephanie Watts of New Westminster and Vancouver Walking Tours and Ghostly Tours fame. Ticket holders can join one of three guided tours, starting from the NWHPS Welcome Centre. Celebrate history, community, and the beauty of heritage homes with us at the Heritage Tour Hub!
