We're selling our collection to support annual bursaries for NWSS students and grants for emerging artists in New Westminster.
Last year, Heritage New West began selling its art collection, featuring local heritage homes depicted in original drawings and watercolours, and high-quality prints by artists Raymond Hargreaves, Jo Scott B, Robin Ward and Angela Au Hemphill. The artworks are professionally framed and well-preserved.
Heritage artwork sale to fund HNW's grants and bursary programs.
Each artwork is available for $200, with all proceeds supporting Heritage New West's bursary/grant program to support local arts and education. HNW will provide a charitable tax receipt for purchases.
Proceeds will fund:
A $500 annual bursary for NWSS students, starting in 2026.
A $500 annual grant for emerging New Westminster artists through Arts New West’s Community Development Program, starting in 2025.
The Heritage New West bursary and grant program will run for at least five years, with the potential to continue if additional funding is secured.
Last year, homeowners whose homes are featured in the collection were invited to purchase their home's rendering -- and they are still welcome to do. The collection is open to the heritage community.
